We are so excited to announce that the Bend Fieldhouse has opened again! We are following all federal, state, and local guidelines on how to safely operate our business and how to best keep our customers and staff healthy.

What we have done:

While our facility was initially shut down we took the opportunity to do a deep clean. Our training facility turf was throughly vacuumed and carpet cleaned. All bathrooms were deep cleaned and our store was sanitized and deep cleaned.

Once we were given guidance on how to safely re-open gyms we rearranged our store and check in process in order to be as safe as possible. We now have a one way flow through the facility, from check in to leaving in separate doors. We have placed social distance (6 foot) marks at major waiting points to help our customers keep distance. We have shut down two of our cages and marked the distance so all cage and turf space users can stay 6 feet from each other at all times.

New policies implemented:

Our biggest new policy to prevent overcrowding is advance reservations for individuals. All individuals will reserve their specific batting cage or turf space rental time and pre-fill out information that will allow us to contact trace if there are any positive cases that have been in the Bend Fieldhouse. Customers are only allowed in the facility 10 minutes prior and after their reservation to aid in any possible contact tracing.

We will also require all staff members and customers to wash their hands. Customers will be directed (through the one way flow) to wash their hands after checking in and before using the batting cages.

All staff members will wear face masks at all times. Customers are encourage to wear face masks. We have also provided a clear plastic barrier between our staff member at the check in counter and the customer for added safety.

All equipment (spectator seating, buckets, tee’s, pitching machines, etc.) will be sanitized after each customer use. All major touchpoint (door handles, light switches, check in counter, etc.) will be sanitized throughout the day and at the end of every day. Bathrooms will be cleaned twice a day. The whole facility will be cleaned at the end of each day.

All fans on and (weather permitting) doors will be open throughout the day in order to increase air flow in the facility.

We are so happy that our batting cages are open again! We have taken many steps to ensure the health and safety of all our customers and staff members. If you have any other questions or concerns regarding our safety protocols or us reopening, please feel free to reach out to us at (541) 312-9259.
