Tyrel Wafford

“Ty is the father to our 6.5month old daughter and is the most supportive father. Last year I unexpectedly lost my dad in February, Ty never left my side. Then surprise 50days later we found out Willa was on her way. Ty help me process all these emotions. We spent every date night at the Bend Elks games talking about bringing our daughter. Her first outfit he ever got her was a Bend Elks onesie. We were heartbroken to realize our daughter wouldn’t be seeing her first baseball game. Ty is truly an amazing dad to our daughter Willa and we can wait one more year for her to first baseball game , and be the matching Bend Elks gear family.” - Rachael Ramsey

Bill Johnson

“My dad is one of the most selfless, kind hearted people in the world. He is a huge baseball fan and is devastated by the loss of baseball this season. During the COVID 19 pandemic, dad kept busy by spending all of his time online looking up rumored start dates, how to get in at least a 120 game season no matter when they get the okay (a lot of silly ideas) and we watched a lot of baseball movies and documentaries. My dad worked for the Chicago Cubs during the 70's and loves coming out to Elks games. He helped me move out of my apartment and let me live with him for three months while I was out of work, and our time together was absolutely wonderful through such a dark time. Please consider Bill Johnson for MVD!! MVD! MVD!” - Devin Johnson
