The Bend Elks and Boss Baseball are proud to announce three camps this winter hosted at the Bend Fieldhouse!
Saturday, November 14th | Explosive Hitting & Aggressive Base Running Camp
Saturday, December 12th | Infield Quickness & Outfield Footwork Camp
Saturday, January 16th | Pitching Conditioning & Catching Technique Camp
Ages 7-10 - 8:00-10:30 | Ages 11-13 - 11:00-1:30 | Ages 14-18 - 2:00-4:30
$99/camper or $260 for all 3 - Max of 30 campers/session
Saturday, November 14th: Explosive Hitting & Aggressive Base Running
- This camp is dedicated to carving out an aggressive mindset in both hitting and base running. The hitting aspect will be a break-down of the mental side of hitting to establish yes-yes hitters, while also addressing the mechanical aspects of what makes for explosive swings. Baserunning will be catered to the individual age groups - as we introduce baserunning fundamentals to the younger group and establish how to be aggressive to the older groups.
Saturday, December 12th: Infield Quickness & Outfield Footwork
- Great defense is born from great footwork. This camp will be dedicated to making your player faster and more explosive in the field. We will start with footwork and work from the ground up, establishing principles for glovework and arm action as well. With the BSP speed & strength training stations also addressing these core elements, look for your player to receive a complete picture of how good his footwork and movements can be.
Saturday, January 16th: Pitching Conditioning & Catching Techniques
- As the calendar turns, baseball players start to look ahead to the spring season and how they can begin to condition their throwing arm. We will address how to best ramp up the pitching schedule and hit the ground running in the spring season. Along with that, we will work with catchers on the advanced and modern fundamentals that can separate themselves from others behind the dish. Pitching will be individualized per player.
Note: All camps will have stations dedicated to the speed & strength training movements specifically from Boss Sports Performance, taught by a professional trainer from BSP. Don't miss these camps that address both baseball fundamentals and speed & strength training!
High school coaches and Boss Baseball coaches will work the camps.
