Bend, OR. - The Wenatchee AppleSox dominated the Bend Elks in the final game of the series, defeating the Elks 12-1, powered by an eight-run seventh inning that gave the AppleSox its first-ever sweep of the Elks.

Unlike in the previous two matchups, the AppleSox jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first inning. After the Elks responded with one run in the bottom of the opening frame, Wenatchee never looked back, scoring ten unanswered runs to roll to victory.

Ty Kennedy, Easton Amundson, and Garrett Gores each had multi-hit games for Wenatchee, while Aiden Van Rensum had 3 RBI.

The Elks finished with four hits on the night, two of which came on back-to-back doubles by Ryan Christiansen.

Bend (0-3) opens up the second part of its six-game homestand against the Port Angeles Lefties (0-3) Monday at 6:35 p.m. at Vince Genna Stadium.
